Exceptional Controller opportunity available with this Premier NYC Hedge Fund Advisory Leader. In this role, you will have complete hands on responsibility for Financial Reporting, Operations, Consolidations, Budgeting, and variance analysis.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting
• Development and Implementation of Financial Controls and systems
• Cash Management
• Supervising of G/L (General Ledger)
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Risk Management/ Treasury
• Liaison between Corporate Office and branch locations
• Oversee Payroll
This position has significant room for growth
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor`s degree is required.
• 5+ years related Accounting operations experience in a financial services environment preferred
• Prior work experience within a Hedge Fund is a tremendous plus
• Exposure to as many of the following as possible: budgets, consolidations, variance analysis, receivables and payable operations
• QuickBooks proficiency
